The University Council
wields supreme decisive authority within the University and is in charge of matters concerning the University in general and shapes a comprehensive policy for it. The University Council also
contributes to and organizes supervision of and cooperation amongst faculties and their communications with parties outside the university including cooperation with other schools and research
institutes. The University Council has decisive authority in matters relating to the university, as prescribed by law and as regulation more specifically stipulates. The University Council during
winter of 2012 - 2013 consists of the following members:
