This counseling service is designed for currently registered and prospective students. Information is provided among other things on courses of study offered by the University, changes in the course selection, and the preparation of study schedules, etc. The Student Counselor assists in the choice of studies both by means of conventional interviews and also by resorting to the exploration of the scope of interest of the individual student by using the strong interest inventory method.
Interviews of this kind aim at assisting individuals seeking answers to questions relating to choices of study and work in accordance with their individual area of interest and talents. Assistance in the search for information with a view to advanced studies is also an important part of this effort and applies particularly to counseling services for current students and former students of the University who have graduated and are thinking of further higher education.
