Rules on Advanced Study

The Faculty Meeting of Postgraduate Studies in Health Sciences comprises the Head of Faculty as well as all tenured teachers within the School of Health Sciences who are responsible for a course within the postgraduate program. A student representative is also a member of the Faculty Meeting.

The Curriculum Committee
The Curriculum Committee comprises the Head of the Postgraduate Programme and three teachers, as well as one student representative. The objective of the Curriculum Committee is, inter alia.

  • Monitor the quality of study programmes to ensure that they respond to requirements and state of the art of knowledge at each time. 
  • Act as a consultative body for Master’s Programme Committees and Study Councils with regard to proposed Master’s thesis research plans of individual students. 
  • Act as a consultative body for Master’s Programme Committees and Study Councils with regard to the choice of courses by individual students which might lead to a Master’s or Diploma qualification. 
  • Act as a consultative body for Master’s Programme Committees and Study Councils with regard to the assessment of courses from other educational organisations.
