Where can I go?
The University of Akureyri cooperative partners devided after
faculties.
The University of Akureyri has concluded agreements with several universities in Europe relating to the exchange of teachers within the Erasmus Programme. In the past few years teaching staff members of the University of Akureyri have visited one of the collaborating universities, given lectures and taught classes. Foreign teachers have also visited the University of Akureyri and taught here for a few days. Such teacher exchanges are well suited to the establishment of good relations among teachers and the opportunities are there to become familiar with the diverse work procedures applied in different countries. Attention is called to the fact that a contract is considered valid as soon as it has been signed and the exchange of teachers is often the first step towards increased collaboration among universities.
Further information about the Erasmus teacher exchange is to be gained at the home page of the International Office for Icelandic
Universities
The international office at UNAK is to be contacted at: international@unak.is. After that a connecting link is established with a host school that
attends to organising a visit in consultation with the applicant. A copy of the application must be sent to the International Office at the University of Akureyri.
