Nordicum-Mediterraneum is an international forum for inter-and multi - disciplinary discussion and the dissemination throughout the Nordic countries of academic writings on topics relating to the Mediterranean countries and conversely the distribution of writings throughout the Mediterranean countries on matters of the Nordic countries. Nordicum-Mediterraneum is a forum for dialogue about the common origins of these Eurasian nations and a comparative analysis concerning them.

Editors of the journal are Dr. Giorgio Baruchello, lecturer, at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at the University of Akureyri and Dr. Maurizio Tani, temporary instructor, at the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Iceland.
